The annual virtual meeting brings together innovative creatives from around the world who are shaping the future of architecture and design
The summit, held on January 30, 2021, is curated by the New York-based curator, Beatrice Galilee, in collaboration with the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and aims to speak to current world-wide issues such as politics, indigenous rights, racial justice, education, and health.
This is the second World Around Summit and it will also share new architectural projects of the past year, with a specific focus on urgent topics related to the environment, equity, and the city. Offering a virtual and live tour of cities and cultural institutions on almost every continent, the 2021 Summit will feature both streamed and local in-person discussions in ten international cities.
